BCCJ SME and Startup Night

SMEs make up over 99% of Japanese businesses, and the BCCJ has a long history of supporting those who wish to take the steps into new opportunities.

On 12 June, the BCCJ hosted an SME and Startup night for members and non-members alike, setting up an open space for entrepeneurs to network, share their ideas and plans, and meet like-minded individuals. About 60 successful and aspiring entrepeneurs attended the event, which started with a speech from our own Sarah, and BCCJ President, Richard Lyle, followed by a few hours of networking and drinking between participants. 

The event was held at Tencups Tokyo, a cosy cafe and cocktail bar nestled in the ground floor of Tokyo Stay Shinminamiguchi Hotel, allowing a comfortable, casual and calming environment to share advice and knowledge with others.
